The project entitled as “AUTOMATED BAKERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” aims at Computerizing the day to day activities of Bakery Shop. The project has been designed using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2008. The back end used is MS SQL Server 2005.
The day to day activities of the bakery shop includes the Purchase, Sales, maintaining the details of the Customers and Suppliers, maintaining the optimum stock, getting specific requirements from the customers, keeping track of the new arrivals of items and brands in the market and updating them in the stock. All the above said activities are done manually and become very tedious as the number of items and brands are more and the customers grow day by day. In order to meet the growing demands, a system has to be developed to keep track of all the activities of the bakery shop.
The system is designed to keep track of bakery shop stock, Suppliers, Customers, Purchase, Sales, payments and receipts. The system is also designed to produce the reports on the current stock with brand wise and item wise. The receipts are printed and the day to day sales transactions are cumulated and printed for any particular day. All the reports can be taken for any given day and can be viewed as soft copy or hard copy and thus help to improve the business of the bakery shop.
The Automated Bakery Mansagement System is mainly used to computerize all the process such as stock , customer , supplier, payment, receipt, billing and other reports required by the shop. It also maintains all stock and customers details.

- Helps the company to keep track of all the records through well formatted reports
- Provide user friendly environment for the end user.
