The project entitled as “ONLINE TREE PLANTATION AND LAND PROVIDER PORTAL” has been developed under ASP.Net 2005 as front end and SQL Server 2000 as back end. The coding language used for web page development is VB .Net.
The main aim of the project is acting as an intermediate for both tree plantation people and land providers. The project helps to identify the persons who are ready to provide land as well as willing to make tree plantation. The administrator options in the web site help to approve both kinds of users for their further activities.
Only after the approval they can login and provide details. The administrator can track all the location where trees are going to be planted. Various reports such as List of willing tree planters and land providers, requests raised by them and request can be generated.
Thus the web site helps to improve the environment in an efficient manner. This web site helps tree planting personals and land providers to communicate effectively. The web application which is developed to improve the green environment .
The web site administrator, land providers, crop providers and cultivators are the end users of the site. The environment condition will improve through the efforts and co operation of the end users by reducing the environmental pollution through cultivating lands.
The main objectives of this project are as follows,
- To maintain the land providers list.
- To maintain the tree planters list.
- To maintain the social workers list.
- To assist in keeping environment green.
- To increase communication between land providers and tree planters.
- To update the status to both land provider, tree planter and social worker
immediately through web site and mail.
- To increase user satisfaction.
